The day has come, lets pass that driving test!
Getting ready for your driving test can feel overwhelming, but we're here to make it simple and stress free.
Our instructors will guide you through things you might expect on your driving test such as:

Vehicle safety checks ("show me, tell me" questions)

All manoeuvres such as the parallel park, pulling up on the right and both forward and reverse bay parks

Independent driving following road signs and the sat nav
We encourage you to have completed your theory test before commencing lessons. You can book your theory test as soon as you receive your provisional licence. This then enables you to book the driving test as soon as you're ready, with no delays!
Mock Tests
To help you feel fully prepared, we offer realistic mock driving tests under exam conditions. This helps you:

Build Confidence

Identify areas for improvement

Reduce test day nerves

Understand how examiners assess drivers
We can even arrange for another instructor to carry out these mock tests so you become used to having someone different in the car.
How do I know when I'm ready to take the test?
As you get ready, your instructor will advise and help you book your driving test.
To do so, you need to be able to demonstrate the following:

Drive independently and safely without prompts, on a variety of road conditions

You show consistency in your lessons and avoid serious/dangerous faults

You are able to manage your nerves whilst completing a Mock test with your instructor.

What to expect on the day
The day has arrived! It's now time to take your driving test and show off all of those invaluable skills that you've learnt.
On the day of your test, your instructor will normally pick you up an hour before the. You will have a relaxed warm up drive, before heading to the test centre. We can even stop off for a coffee and chat to calm those pre test nerves if helps you!
Use of your instructors car and time is charged at our standard 2 hour lesson rate, there are no hidden charges and no inflated costs for test days.
